The American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP)
The American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) is one of the largest national medical organizations, representing 105,900 family physicians, family medicine residents, and medical students nationwide. Founded in 1947, its mission has been to preserve and promote the science and art of family medicine and to ensure high-quality, cost-effective health care for patients of all ages.
Certified in Family practice by ABFM
The mission of the ABFM is to promote excellence in medical care through educational and scientific initiatives. Through certification and maintenance of certification programs the ABFM pursues its mission by establishing, maintaining, and measuring high standards of excellence in the specialty of Family Medicine.
Certified in Blood Pressure and Diabetes by the National Committee for Quality Assurance

The Ohio Academy of Family Physicians (OAFP)
The Ohio Academy of Family Physicians is a statewide professional association of more than 4,300 members, including practicing family physicians, family medicine residents, and medical students. Since 1948, the OAFP has represented the professional interests of Ohio family physicians, provided postgraduate medical education, and encouraged medical students to enter this field and to advance the patient-physician relationship.
The OAFP is one the largest, most active constituent chapters of the American Academy of Family Physicians.
American Medical Association (AMA)
American Medical Association has promoted scientific advancement, improved public health, and invested in the doctor and patient relationship since 1847.
